Sweets for the Sweet

Valentine’s Day wouldn’t be complete for most without chocolates and flowers, but not everyone is keen on getting in the midst of pollen or overwhelmed by floral fragrance. A great alternative would be sweet, edible gifts.

The Bucket of Love, for example, would be an ideal gift for a chocolate lover, male or female. It’s filled with eight Ferrero Rochers, eight milk Lindt Balls, and 20 red chocolate hearts from Chocolatier and comes with
complimentary gift wrapping and gift card. Auckland Flowers and Gifts Florist Shop only charges $59 for the Bucket of Love.

For those who want to splurge, Auckland Flowers has other gift packages to offer such as the Rose Garden Chocolate Arrangement that has includes 20 Ferrero Rocher chocolates surrounded by 40 red and silver solid heart chocolates set like a bouquet. It comes with a handmade fabric quilted presentation box in gold, along with complimentary gift wrapping and gift card for $119.

Maybe not as unique, but certainly more romantic, would be Fondue For Two , which would be a set to be shared by two, featuring fresh strawberries, marshmallows, and licorice with skewers for dipping into a bowl of creamy Belgian milk chocolate in a Robert Gordon bowl. Presented with handmade quilted fabric box in silver and gift card for $84. Advance order the day prior to delivery or by 9.30 am at the latest in the morning of the day desired for the delivery to be made is, however, required. Delivery is solely within Auckland.

Not into chocolates? How about a Bright Bunch Fruit Bowl, instead? A bouquet of pineapple stars, strawberries, honeydew leaves, watermelon hearts, and grapes would make the perfect Valentine breakfast or brunch. It comes in three different sizes: Small $94, Medium $124, and Large $154. As with the fondue, advanced order for the fruit bowl by 9:30 in the morning of the same day of the desired delivery should be made.
