Confirmed names for CoolJazzFestival on July 2010

CoolJazzFest is a music festival presenting some of the best and talented artist on the jazz scene. Combining different expressions and perspectives of this kind of music, the program is wide and definitely to take into consideration.

This next July summer nights, CoolJazzFest will be presenting top quality open air concerts in Cascais (map) and Mafra (map), in places of great historic and natural importance.  This 7th edition will bring to the stage 12 national and international artists. One month of unmatched sensorial and musical experience.

Confirmed artists are:

- Diolinda – a supreme national music project that has found fans in all different ages and backgrounds. Combining the Fado with popular music, you can also find some other influences from Hawai and Mexico, from Samba and obviously Jazz. They have won many prices and their album “Canção ao Lado” was considered the 3rd best 2009 World Music album by the Sunday Times

- Other confirmed names that do not need presentation are: Norah Jones, Chris Isaak, Diana Krall and Buena Vista Social Club Orquestra.
