If you enjoy classic boats, cars and motorcycles, Wood, Waves and Wheels is for you. This annual event takes place May 22, 2010 from noon until 5pm. The Fort Worth Boat Club hosts the show at its elegant venue along Eagle Mountain Lake. Classic cars and bikes are displayed on the lawn, while vintage boats float in the marina. Photo Op: Seattle Yacht Club

Details:  Yesterday was the Opening Day of Yachting, so today’s photo pays homage to long time Montlake resident, the Seattle yacht club. The yacht club was founded in 1892, originally on Elliott Bay, and moved to its current location in 1920.  Facilities include permanent moorage and a beautiful entertainment facility (club house) on shore.
