Renew Your Vows at the Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach

Destination weddings are all the rage right now but back when I got married there’s no way that I could have afforded one.  I’ve been thinking that I will go someplace amazing to renew my vows for my 10th anniversary and if you have been thinking the same thing, you might be interested in the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk’s offer to allow guests to renew their vows on Valentine’s Day 2010.  How romantic!client: embassy suites with y partnership, AD michael wilkie. amy munson(kathy mullen) glenn wachtel(kathy mullen)

The Ceremony

The vow renewal ceremony is non-denominational in order to allow couples from all backgrounds to feel comfortable.  Some Hawaiian elements have been incorporated, however, including the exchanging of leis to symbolize the unbroken circle of love and a dance to the Hawaiian Wedding Song.  The celebration takes place at the resort’s Grand Lanai at 6:15pm.

“Suite Romance” Package

Even if you won’t be renewing your vows, you might want to take advantage of the Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk’s “Suite Romance” package which starts at $289 per night and is available through December 20, 2010.

Couples can enjoy a 45-minute massage using Hawaii-made oils for two by a licensed practitioner.  Couples will then be treated to a pineapple sweet and sour sugar scrub and then will be taught how to practice lomilomi massage on one another.

Guests will also be given free gifts and signature desserts from Roy’s Waikiki or Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Waikiki Beach Walk.

The Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk offers daily complimentary, full cooked-to-order breakfasts featuring traditional hot breakfast dishes and an extensive omelet station as well as a nightly manager’s reception including complimentary snacks and cocktails.
