Guys and Dolls at the Capitol

... enough to catch the new production of Guys and Dolls playing at the Capitol Theatre. It was the sort of production that made me think I need to see musical theatre more often. The cast should have tipped me off that this show would be something special. Where else can you see Garry McDonald, Lisa McCune, Marina Prior, Shane Jacobsen, Ian Stenlake, and Magda Szubanski sharing a stage? Each is a star in their own right, and each shone in their roles.
