10 Things To Experience at Walt Disney World in Fall

I have said it before and I will say it again— I love Walt Disney World in the fall !!!  While anytime is a great time to visit, trips in the fall are especially delightful because of the smaller crowds and beautiful weather.

But rest assured, these are not the only reasons to love Disney World in the fall, and to prove it here are 10 more:

  1. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party – this after hours additional ticketed party held on select nights at Magic Kingdom is a big hit with families with lots of trick-or-treating and extra special Halloween fun!
  2. Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival – included in the admission ticket to Epcot theme park, this festival features tastes from destinations around the world
  3. Eat to the Beat Concerts – as part of the International Food & Wine Festival, guests at Epcot are treated to concerts by various recording artists performing nightly
  4. Disney’s Endurance Series – after all that eating, drinking and trick-or-treating, it is time for some exercise with featured races throughout the theme parks
  5. Festival of the Masters – sponsored by Sharpie, this juried art festival draws artists and families from far and wide to this Downtown Disney tradition
  6. Children’s Miracle Network Golf Classic – watch the PGA professionals tackle the Disney courses at this charity Classic or take a shot at it yourself with special golf offerings for Disney World Resort hotel guests
  7. Have a family portrait taken for those holiday greeting cards by a Disney Professional photographer
  8. Meet Princess Tiana – the newest member of Disney’s royal family and star of The Princess and the Frog, Tiana will make appearances at Tiana’s Showboat Jubilee, a new singing, dancing show aboard the Liberty Belle Riverboat
  9. What says fall more than a campfire and s’mores?! – enjoy this complimentary treat nightly at several Walt Disney World Resort hotels.  S’more kits are available for purchase, or for extra savings, bring your own supplies
  10. Trail rides, wagon rides and carriage rides – enjoy the scenic Ft. Wilderness area from on top or behind a horse or for an extra special October treat, reserve a Haunted Carriage Ride and listen while your driver tells the Tale of Sleepy Hollow

Enjoy one or enjoy them all, but you too will love Disney in the fall !!
