Fall Prix Fixe Boston Dining Deals

There is no shortage of dining deals in Boston this fall.  Prix fixe menus are among the most popular specials offered this season and a great way to enjoy Boston’s dining scene without breaking the bank.  Here are three of the latest prix fixe deals to consider.FallPF_09_Pork

  1. Located in the Theatre District, the Boston outpost of the upscale steak chain Fleming’s (217 Stuart St., Boston, 617-292-0808) (Map)is offering a fall prix fixe menu  which will be available daily from Ocotber 6-January 24 for $39.95. The menu includes either roasted butternut squash soup or salad, a choice among three entrees (Pork Osso Bucco, Filet Mignon Brochette, or Chicken Alsace) along with a side, and every one’s favorite- a dark chocolate mousse cake for dessert.
  2. DaVinci, also in the Theatre District (162 Columbus Ave., Boston, 617-350-0007) is a marvelous chef-owned restaurant  that specializes in sophisticated Italian. Da Vinci is offering a 3-course prix fixe for $33.09 through the end of the year, available Monday-Thursday from 5-10PM, and on Friday-Saturday before 6PM. This prix fixe is wide-ranging- diners can choose from 12 primi, 16 secondi and 5 dolci options. DaVinci’s homemade pastas  are especially good.
  3. Bokx 109 (located in the Hotel Indigo, 399 Grove St., Newton, 617-454-3399)(Map)  has a very-well priced, Sunday-Monday three course fall prix fixe for $20.09 which includes a fall salad (pears, cranberries, candied pecans and blue cheese) a choice between a wood- grilled chicken breast or house-made herb linguine for an entree,  and crispy Nutella ravioli for dessert.
