The Ultimate Pub: Allen’s on the Danforth

The Ultimate Pub: Allen’s on the Danforth
... New York, London, Paris and Miami. This is not your ordinary pub.  It boasts one of Toronto’s most extensive beer and scotch lists and a hamburger that ranks among the city’s best. Other notable items on the menu are: the chilled minted pea soup, wood smoked Irish salmon, the curries, and don’t forget the sweet potato fries!  And in the summer they always have a  daily bbq special cooked over Canadian hardwood. Oh, and did I mention that their brunch is fantastic and that they...

Adult Milkshakes at Bourbon Steak

... of Rum Raisin, Grasshopper or Bourbon Praline, and you’ll want to drive up to Aventura more often. While you are there, why not indulge in a burger from their newly launched burger menu? Whether you are in the mood for a traditional all-beef burger or a vegetarian falafel burger, no problem here, as they have something to fit everyone’s needs. I recommend the lamb burger with fresh arugula and yogurt raita. What: burgers and spiked milkshakes, choose from all-beef, turkey, falafel,...

2 New Burger Places Enter the South Florida Restaurant Scene

... seen a change in the restaurant scene. Although we still have an abundance of 5 star restaurants opening up, I’ve noticed at plethora of hamburger and barbecue places opening their doors. It’s so much easier to go out for a $10 burger, than it is to go out for that $52 12-ounce Filet Mignon at Prime 112. There’s 2 places that I’ve heard of that will be opening...
