The Ritz-Carlton’s Angle Restaurant Re-Opens as an American Supper Club

There’s big news in Palm Beach and food lovers around are going to line up for this one. Angle, the signature restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton in Manalapan, recently announced that they were going to re-open their doors. They’ve rid themselves of the uber-formal Angle Restaurant of the past, and are re-opening as an American, supper-club fully embracing the Slow Food movement — using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible including wild, line-caught and day boat fish, sustainable greens from local farms and Creekstone Farms Black Angus Beef. The walls are covered in chocolate velvet and glowing candles will flicker into the night, creating a romantic mood. If you’re looking for an even more unique experience, you’ll want to reserve the communal table where you can enjoy one of chef’s tasting menus or sip your way through your favorite flight of wine.

The restaurant will offer everything you’d expect from a Five Star, Five Diamond resort, but without the stuffiness that you want to get away from — and Executive Chef Ryan Artim, who also is responsible for the exquisite cuisine at Temple Orange, has created a menu that will have your palate dancing for joy.

Think — appetizer options (starting at $10) that include Taylor Bay Scallops with Corn Puree and Pomegranate; Celeriac Soup with Raisins and Peanut Marshmallow; and Swank Farms Baby Mesclun Mix with apples, walnuts and sherry vinaigrette. Entrees (starting at $26) like Gulf Coast Red Snapper with Hearts of Palm and Vanilla Vinaigrette; Fort Pierce Golden Tile with cauliflower and tomato chutney; and Braised Short Ribs and Prime Natural New York 28 Day, Dry Aged Steak. Make it a sweet ending with a warm blackberry buckle for two served in a cast iron skillet with Muscavado Sugar and vanilla ice cream.

To add to the experience, be sure to match your dinner with your favorite beverage. Cocktail shaker libations, craft beers and a lengthy selection of award winning wines will all be offered.

Angle is re-opening this Saturday and will be open for dinner Monday-Sunday (November-March) and Tuesday-Saturday (April-October) from 6-10 pm. For reservations, call 561-540-4924.

Angle is located at The Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach, 100 S Ocean Blvd, Palm Beach t: (561) 540 4924
