Summer Nights at Disneyland Resort are Summer Nightastic!

Summer nights at Disneyland Resort have always been exciting, but with the reintroduction of Summer Nightastic! they will be a little brighter and a lot more fun.  Now through August 29, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure (map) will host  Summer Nightastic! bringing more sparkle, more fireworks and a whole new World of Color.

The addition of World of Color, a show combining hundreds of performing fountains, popular Disney music and animation projected on giant screens of water, brought after-dark experiences to a whole new level for Summer Nightastic entertainment.

Other features in the line-up of summer nighttime experiences include:

  • FANTASMIC! – a musical pyrotechnic live action show featuring over 50 performers, takes place nightly on the Rivers of America in Frontierland.  Enhancements added to the show transform  Sleeping Beauty’s, evil Maleficent, into a fully animated 40-foot-tall dragon.
  • MAGICAL - a sensational fireworks show entering its second year, is brought to life by Tinker Bell.  This year Tink is followed by another famous flying Disney Character as Dumbo dances across the night sky and over Sleeping Beauty Castle.
  • TLT Dance Club – Tweens, teens and families will want to dance the night away on Tomorrowland Terrace at Disneyland as the TLT Dance Club DJ spins tunes from the illuminated stand.  On select nights, live band and DJs from the hottest Southern California radio stations will appear to keep Tomorrowland rockin’ through the night.
  • Pixie Hollow Enchantment – tucked in near the entrance to Sleeping Beauty Castle lies Pixie Hollow, the home of Tinker Bell and her friends.  Visit by day to meet Tink and her pals, but at night this area comes to life with cascading pixie dust, an iridescent light show and playful sparkling fountains.

With so much excitement in store, you may not want the summer nights to end.
