Marriott’s Tots Travel Too Initiative

Marriott Tots Travel Too

When you’re traveling as a family, it’s often surprising how the littlest members of said family require the most stuff. And said stuff is often bulky, heavy, andwith our current situation of charging for checked luggage, expensive.

It’s nice when hotels launch an initiative that makes life a little easier for traveling parents, and Marriott has just done this with their Tots Travel Too program.

Now, at more than 2500 Courtyard, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, and TownePlace Suites hotels in the United States and Canada, Marriott will supply traveling parents with a package that includes a travel crib and laundered COVERPLAY® removable crib slipcover, an animal squirtie toy for the tub that you can take home, plus complimentary baby toiletry items.  In addition, the hotels will supply (free of charge) outlet covers and nightlights to help baby-proof the room, and disposable bibs will be available in the dining areas.

We’ve personally experienced an unsafe and unsuitable travel crib upon arrival at a resort, and had to shore it up ourselves when nothing else was available.  As a result, we’ve always lugged along our playpen, just in case we encountered the same problem elsewhere.  I will say that it’s nice to know Marriott has taken it upon themselves to make life a little easier for traveling parents, and a little more comfortable for the traveling tots.
