World Cup 2010 Parties

All eyes are on South Africa for the 2010 World Cup tournament, and everyone is looking for a place to watch the matches.¬† Houston’s MLS soccer club, the Houston Dynamos, are hosting viewing parties at locations around the city.¬† All parties are free to the public, will feature appearances by the Dynamo Girls, and will include tons of games and prizes for spectators, with each location offering soccer fans food and drink specials.¬† If Team USA advances to the semis and/or finals the parties will be hosted by Lucky’s Pub, while Mambo Seafood on N. Freeway will host if Team Mexico advances.

Friday June 11: Mexico vs. South Africa; Discovery Green Park 1500 McKinney (map) 8 AM -11 AM

Saturday June 12: USA vs. England; Discovery Green Park 1500 McKinney (map) 12 PM Р4 PM

Thursday June 17: Mexico vs. France; Hooters Pasadena 3656 E. Sam Houston Freeway 8 AM Р11 AM

Friday June 18: USA vs. Slovenia; Lucky’s Pub 801 St. Emanuel¬† 8 AM – 11 AM

Tuesday June 22: Mexico vs. Uruguay; Mambo Seafood N. Freeway 10810 N. Freeway 8 AM – 11 AM

Wednesday June 23: USA vs. Algeria; Lucky’s Pub 801 St. Emanuel 8 AM – 11 AM

Friday June 25: Portugal vs. Brazil; Hooters NASA 20790 Gulf Freeway  8 AM Р11 AM
