Chefs in Shorts

Bring your appetite to one of the biggest Boston Chef events of all, this year’s 13th annual Chefs in Shorts Barbecue on Friday, June 25 from 7 PM-9:30 PM at the Seaport Boston (200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston)(Map).

More than 30 of Boston’s top chefs are participating  this year, including Rachel Klein from Aura Restaurant and Tamo Bar, Mark Sapienza from Bond at the Langham Hotel, Chef S. Giridar from Mumbai Chopstix, and Marie -Claude Mendy from Teranga.

The Boston restaurant community is tight. These chefs will be cooking up a storm- pitting their best barbecue and other summer-themed eats against each other- in a fun, good-natured way. It is an outdoor event- very “summer in the city”- with great views of the Boston skyline.  Besides, how often do you get the opportunity to try food prepared by some of Boston’s best chefs – all in one place- for one price? Tickets are $60 per person and include plenty of food along with complimentary beer and wine. And since all proceeds benefit a great cause- the Greater Boston Food Bank- you can “pig out” without guilt.
