Thrills on Sydney Harbour with Thunder Jet Boats
Sydney’s most outstanding feature is its harbour, and what better way to enjoy it than on an adrenalin-charged jet boat ride? Jet boating is all about hair-raising slides, nerve-wracking fishtails, and wild wave rides. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then read on.
Thunder Jet Boats operates their thrilling jet boat rides daily. The boats leave from Circular Quay, and travel past the Opera House, around the harbour islands, and under the Harbour Bridge.
While it’s an action packed ride, it’s also completely safe for the kids. They just need to be at least 130 cm tall so they can reach the handrails.
Thunder Jet offers a choice of two rides. The Thunder Twist lasts for 30 minutes and will set you back $60 for adults and $40 for kids.
The Extreme Adrenalin Rush is a longer ride, lasting for 45 minutes. This will take you right to the Pacific Ocean for more thrills and more waves. The Extreme Adrenalin Rush costs $79 for adults and $55 for kids.
If you’re hoping to ride the jet boats you’ll need to wear comfortable clothes. But as there’s no climbing involved, the ladies can glam it up a little in skirts and heels.
