Liberace, Live From Heaven……
If you are (or were) a Liberace fan then this is the show for you!Â
‘Live From Heaven’ is the story of Liberace and all that he is famous for – his music, his costumes and his life, the highest paid entertainer during the 1950’s – 1970’s the star lived a flamboyant life and was undeniably a very talented musician that appealed to audiences right around the world.
This show originally debuted in London’s Leicester Square Theatre in October 2009 for a limited season – Liberace is portrayed by Bobby Crush who does an impressive job of bringing the star to life with a selection of diamnate-encrusted outfits, old classical music favorites merged with popular tunes all make for a very entertaining show.
The Hawkins Theatre  (map) in Papakura is the venue and Liberace comes to ‘ life’ in Auckland on 12 July 2010 at 8pm.
Tickets can be purchased from Ticketek and cost NZD$59.90 or NZD$49.90 for groups of 12 more.
So get a group of friends together and head out to an evening of entertainment and reminiscing!
