Why Budget Travelers Should Follow Hotels on Twitter
Celebrities, athletes, your mother… it seems as though just about everyone has joined the Twitter craze, and hotel chains are no different. As people and businesses are realizing the power of social media, they are reaching out and advertising through platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
It means that deals with your favorite hotel chains are easier than ever to find, and they are short and to the point (140 characters or less actually) without all the “fluff” that can be found in traditional advertising methods. They also will tweet perks or useful information about their hotel and services.
I’ve come up with a great list of hotels to check out. Don’t forget to look up and add your own favorites!
