Wood, Waves, and Wheels: Classic Vehicles on Eagle Mountain Lake
The Fort Worth Boat Club hosts the show at its elegant venue along Eagle Mountain Lake. Classic cars and bikes are displayed on the lawn, while vintage boats float in the marina.
Wood, Waves and Wheels is free to the public, with refreshments available for purchase. This is also a good time to check out the Fort Worth Boat Club building since it will be open to the public that day.
Wood, Waves and Wheels is giving awards for People’s Choice, Judge’s Favorites, and Best of Show. Cars and motorcyles may enter at no charge, while the fee to enter a boat is $20 (see below for more information.)
The Eagle Mountain Classic Boat Club is partnering with the Fort Worth Boat Club for Wood, Waves and Wheels. While the former is for antique boat enthusiasts, the latter is for sailors and recreational boaters, in general.
Weather permitting, there will be a boat parade to cap off the show. This is storm season, so don your sunscreen, pack an umbrella and head on down to Eagle Mountain Lake to check out some classic vehicles.
