Take a Ride on the Wild Side

Get up close and personal as you ride into the Wild Animal Park 1,800 acres park in a flatbed truck.¬† You’ll be able to feed giraffes or rhinos while riding through a safari on the Photo Caravan.

There are other options to view the 900-acre native species reserve that includes Flightline where you can “fly” over the park’s field exhibits for an exhilarating, wind-in-your-face thrill.¬† This is recommended for ages 10 and older.¬† If flying is not for you, you can try the Rolling Safari where you can Segway off-road that takes you off the beaten path and up close to many of the Asian and African animals.¬† And also a private VIP Tour is available for behind the scenes glimpses of the the Wild Animal Park.

I found out that going either first in the morning or late afternoon is the best time to view the animals.

Admission to the Wild Animal Park:  Adult $37; Child $27.   Parking Р$9.  Recommended reservations for the additional tours listed below. 619-718-3000 or 800-407-9534.

Photo Caravan range from $90-$120

Rolling Safari – $80

Flightline – $70

VIP Tour – $490 with a 10 person minimum
