Celebrate the 40th Annual Earth Day in Vancouver

What are you doing to celebrate Earth Day on April 22?  There are several celebrations being held around the Lower Mainland with everything from taking A Walk on the Wild Side out in Mission (Friday 9am Р5 pm) which includes a tree-planting expedition (a fundraiser for at-risk youth) to special events around town and in the suburbs.

  • Scrap Art Music, a show guaranteed to energize your passion for creative solutions, presents a concert at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, 2750 Granville St. at 12th Ave. April 22 at 7 pm.¬†(map) This five member invented instrument group is known around the world for their unusual instruments made from recycled materials.   • Liberation BC Free film screening: “Meat the Truth” (documentary) at the Vancouver Public Library, lower level, 350 W. Georgia St. April 24 -
