Eggstra Special Disney Easter Buffet Dining

I am not a huge fan of brunch buffets.  It is no fault of the restaurants or the delicious items being served, it is totally the fault of my own indecision.  Do I eat the breakfast items or the lunch entrees?

It ’s a buffet you say, eat both!¬† But frankly, the thought of buttermilk pancakes drowning in sweet maple syrup sitting next to salmon with dill sauce just doesn’t win me over¬†and thus my dilemma.

With the release of the Easter Holiday menus at several of the Walt Disney World Resort (map) restaurants, I might just have to rethink my issues and hop right over:

Captain’s Grille at the Yacht Club Resort (map) will offer a holiday brunch buffet from 7:30 am -2:00 pm.¬† With all the breakfast favorites like Eggs Benedict, French toast, sausage and bacon, fresh seasonal fruit, carved Top Sirloin and a made to order omelets station, the buffet will¬† also feature New¬†England Clam Chowder, peel and eat shrimp, crab cakes, and a variety of salads, sides and breads.¬† For those, who really just want breakfast, a limited a la carte breakfast menu will be served 7:30 – 11:00 am.

The Wave of American Flavors at the Contemporary Resort (map) a newer restaurant, becoming known for its unique dining, will offer a brunch buffet with scrambled eggs, grits with smoked cheddar and bacon, multi-grain French toast with fruit compote, chicken sausage, and make your own Muesli.  On the savory side, Boneless Lamb shank, ginger marinated chicken, and Carving Stations with Bone-In Ham and N.Y. Strip Loin, round out the meal.

Want a meal with a little more ?¬† Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary Resort¬†will offer a Brunch Buffet hosted by Mickey Mouse and several of his closest friends.¬† Along with the characters, the special feature here is a unique salad and fruit bar, cereal bar and other breakfast specialties.¬† A carving board which will feature Oven Roasted Beef and joins other hot dishes like green beans with lemon butter sauce, and Goofy’s Vegetable Lasagna.¬† Creations from the Pastry Chef include bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls, focaccia bread pudding.¬† A special child’s buffet proudly serves the famous Mickey waffles.¬† A meal at this restaurant ranks very high on the list of our family favorite Disney dining experiences.

Late risers need not worry as Garden Grove at Walt Disney World Swan¬† (map) will feature a Character dinner buffet with a Soup and Salad Bar with springtime themed salads and tomato bisque,¬† asparagus and leek soup.¬† A carving station with smoked tenderloin and tangerine maple glazed ham, as well as a hot station with baby roasted vegetables.¬† A variety of holiday desserts and pastries and a children’s station with every little bunny’s favorites help round out this character meal.

After a thorough check of the menus, and all the delicious entrees, my dining indecision is worse.  It is nice to know that one option could include breakfast at one spot and dinner at another.
