Cape Grace Offers World Cup Luxury

The 2010 World Cup of football (soccer in North America) is taking place in South Africa this summer which means that fans of the sport are already looking for great places to stay.  Of course, some are happy to just be attending such a major sporting event and they really don’t care too much about the quality of their accommodations but others, which would include myself, want to make sure that they have a lush place to unwind at the end of the day.

Either way, interest in the area has increased since so many will be flocking to South Africa beginning in June so it’s a great time to become familiar with some of the best places to stay.

Cape Grace is considered Cape Town’s leading hotel is offering an opportunity to get in on the excitement before the crowds arrive.  The property, which has been voted “Best Hotel in Cape Town,” “Best Hotel in Africa” and “Best Hotel in the World” has unveiled a three-day package that includes the following:

  • Three nights bed and breakfast in a luxury room
  • Harbor cruise on Cape Grace’s own luxury yacht, Spirit of the Cape
  • Beach picnic on trendy Camps Bay Beach
  • Cable car up and rappel/hike down Table Mountain
  • Tour of local Constantia wineries in motorcycle sidecar
  • Helicopter flip over Table Mountain

Package is valid from April 1 to June 1, 2010 with rates starting at $3,200. For more information, visit www.capegrace.com or call +27 21 410 7100.

Thanks for that post. It brings back fond memories. I always stay in the Cape Grace when I am in Capetown and I just love it when the doormen greet you by name.
