2010 Spring Fling

March break is slowly (or quickly) coming to an end, and with only a few days left until the dreaded back-to-school Monday morning, there is an exciting attraction downtown Toronto that your kids will surely love to visit. Only a couple days left, the Spring Fling 2010 from March 16-21st at the Rogers Centre (map) is one of the most fun places you can take your kids in the city right now. The Rogers Centre has been transformed into a carnival extraordinaire featuring Zero Gravity, a giant Egyptian swinging ship, bumper cars, various roller coasters, a large Ferris Wheel, and much more.

Both kids and the young at heart will have a great time on the 20 rides available at this year’s Spring Fling. This attraction at the Rogers Centre is also an affordable way to spend your day in Toronto. For those who are not into the stomach-twisting rides, the Reptilia’s Special Events Cruiser will also be there with a 45-foot trailer showing off 26 exotic animals. Large windows on both sides of the trailer allows you to get a close look at various reptiles such as alligators, tortoises, pythons, boa constrictors, and more. If you’re lucky, you can get chosen to participate in a presentation and have contact with the animals (if you’re brave enough!)

  • Shows start every day at noon and goes until 6:00 pm. Sunday March 21st is the last day of the carnival. Make sure to go to Gate 5 for the Carnival.
  • Various shows are performed throughout the day every hour.
  • Carnival rides are available for kids of all ages.
  • Gates open from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm today and Saturday, and from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Sunday.
  • Tickets are $20 for an all day ride pass for anyone 2 years and up, and $10 for entrance for those not going on the rides.
