Get a Luxurious Break at Camp Cherry Blossom

The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental Washington DC hotel, one of the most exclusive hotels in the Washington DC area, is offering parents a relaxing and rejuvenating break during the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

Camp Cherry Blossom, a unique program gives busy parents an 80-minute spa treatment to pamper and soothe the mind, body and spirit, and it’s paired with on-site child care services.

The Zen-like ambience of the hotel’s 10,500 sq. ft. spa is designed around total relaxation and luxury.  From the amethyst steam rooms and experience Flowers in bowlshowers to the vitality pool and ice fountain, you’ll feel the stress of the day leave you body starting the moment you walk in.

Some of the featured spa treatments during Camp Cherry Blossom combine both ancient Asian and contemporary techniques, including:

  • The Aroma Stone Treatment -  a relaxing massage using heated stones to generate energy and relieve muscle-tension. ($210 for 80-minutes, $20 more on weekends)
  • The Ocean and Earth Wrap -  a blending of a full-body scrub, aromatherapy and a custom body wrap. ($175 for 80 minutes, $20 more on weekends)
  • The Cherry Blossom Ritual (110 minutes) that starts with a foot ritual followed by a high-antioxidant cherry body scrub, followed by a hot stone aromatherapy massage, all designed to reduce deep tissue tension.  The treatment ends with a warm cup of cherry tea. ($275, $25 more on weekends)

All spa treatments include a private consultation and complimentary infused seasonal beverage.

The facility also includes a 50-foot heated swimming pool and a fitness center with Personal Trainers and private Yoga sessions also available upon request.

Child care as part of Camp Cherry Blossom is $20.00 per child, per hour, and includes a playroom with toys and activities for the children.

The spa also offers a wide range of packages and treatments from a 4-hour Full-Day Ritual pampering including a full-body exfoliation, holistic facial, foot ritual, aromatherapy massage, and a light makeup application, to a long list of massages, body wraps, scrubs and treatments and other beauty treatments, with some as brief as just 20 minutes.  See their online brochure for services offered and pricing.
