Get Away From It All In Orange County

Whether you are traveling, exhausted by your daily routine, or just need to take a little personal time, Orange County has a wide selection of spas for a relaxing massage, rejuvenating facial, or refreshing wrap.

Here are three great spa choices in and around Orange County:

Spa Montage

30801 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach (map), (949) 715-6000

Even if you’re not staying at the beach front Montage Resort you can still enjoy the pampering spa services, and the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, at Spa Montage any day of the week!

Spa Montage defines “luxury spa” by paying attention to the slightest detail with the softest robes, natural silk duvet covers, down feather blankets and natural cotton sheets.  Bronze bowls of seasonal flowers and essential oils that sit under the massage table envelope you in fragrance while you relax.

Many of the fragrant ingredients (eucalyptus, lavender, rose petals, orange blossoms, lemons, limes, mustard seeds) that are mixed into the lotions, oils, scrubs and foot soaks are found locally and organically in the Laguna Hills.

Suggested Service: The “Day of Indulgence” special includes a 60-minute massage, pool-side lunch from Mosaic Bar & Grille and sunset yoga next to the Pacific Ocean($200).  if you only have an hour, try the Laguna Beach Kur signature service – indigenous botanicals in a cold wrap that follows a mustard and eucalyptus hydrotherapy session designed to combat fatigue ($225).

Burke Williams

27741 Crown Valley Pkwy.,  Mission Viejo (map), (949) 367-9717

20 City Blvd. West, Orange (map), (714) 769-1360

Burke Williams can meet all of your cosmetic and body needs in one place by offering Back to Balance Chiropractic wellness services and a Spa7 Cosmetic and Laser Center in addition to offering relaxing spa services in an inviting and luxurious setting,

Suggested Service: If you have a whole afternoon, indulge in the 5 hour Spa Experience package ($450), which includes a massage, facial, exfoliating body wash, calming detox wrap and pedicure.  Otherwise, try the 50 minute Pure Relaxation massage ($105) to release any stress you might have!

Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa

25000 Glen Ivy Rd, Corona (map), 1-888-GLEN-IVY (1-888-453-6489)

11 acres nestled in the mountains in Corona, just 30-45 minutes away from the city life that is the OC, is Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa.  Lounge by one of the pools (including a saline Epsom salt soak pool), try a red clay mud bath, or the natural mineral bath from the hot springs the spa is named after.  Be sure to get a massage in one of the “Under the Oaks” rooms, outdoor massage rooms under the cool Oak trees.

Suggested Service: The Paradise Package ($485) which includes an 80 minutes deluxe massage, your choice of a detoxifying, hydrating or exfoliating 50 minute body treatment, the Glen Ivy custom spa facial, admission to the Grotto (an underground cave in which you cover your body with a moisturizing masque and relax as it soaks in), and lunch at Café Solé for 370 minutes of pampering.  If you’d rather get a shorter treatment, go for the 80 minute full body Temescal Stone therapy session ($155) in which water-warmed smooth stones are placed on your body to melt away muscle tension.
