Looking for a Great Burger? Check out The Office Delray

If you weren’t able to score tickets to this year’s Burger Bash, I have an alternative for you. And no, it’s not going to cost you upwards of $200, but it will mean leaving the comfort of Dade County and driving up to Palm Beach County — yes, I know, but you can do it. A newcomer to Atlantic Avenue — The Office — David Manero’s latest creation has been winning the hearts of burger lovers alike, who are looking for a thick and juicy burger better than any they’ve tried before.

The Secret — The CEO Burger. What’s in it? You think they are going to tell?! Well, they are mum about what is in this burger, but they (Manero and Executive Chef Mark Militello) were able to reveal a few details.  It’s a blend of US Prime meat (though they won’t reveal what’s in this blend). It comes with sweet onion and tomato confit, gorgonzola, Gruyere, arugula and bacon. Everything about it is made from scratch — including the burger (of course), the special sauce and the bun (it’s even branded with The Office’s logo).

The burger is grilled to perfection — charred on the outside, pink on the inside and seasoned just right. And the bun, not too soft, not too wimpy, but brings this burger together with a perfect balance of textures.

While The Office features amazing burgers, the restaurant is so much more than that. It offers a upscale, hip vibe and is perfect for burger lovers and non-burger lovers alike. Yes, they even offer a veggie burger, a Florida Blue Crab Burger, a Fresh Fish Sandwich and some gourmet specialties like Maine Lobster Tacos and Blue Crab Crusted Grouper. I’m looking forward to my next taste sensation.

While I’m not a huge fan of their no-reservation policy, it does mean you have a chance to score a table any night of the week, and pretend it was all part of the plan (for those nights when you forgot to make a reservation). The Office is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
