It’s Time for Travel & Adventure
Welcome all travel writers and travel enthusiasts, that’s everyone right? Here’s your chance to attend The L.A. Times Travel & Adventure Show that will take place next weekend February 13 &14, 2010 to receive special packages for vacations and also win prizes that are only available at this show. There will be over 500 exhibitors so it would be virtually impossible for you not to find something you are interested in. Just to make sure you know the magnitude of this event, travel celebrities like Rick Steves along with Arthur and Pauline Frommer will be attending.
You can win prizes just by registering or doing fun activities such as the Mobile Scavenger Hunt. You will receive clues on our phone “that will take you across the globe without ever leaving the event”. Possible door prizes include trips to Costa Rica or Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel and so much more. At many booths there will be giveaways, specials, and activities sure to fill up your day. These fun activities include scuba diving lessons so don’t forget to bring your swimsuit and towel. For the rugged there is a professionally supervised rock wall for all levels. Golf and surfing simulators will also be available for all to enjoy. Yes, there is also something for all you cowboys at heart. At the travel show there will be lessons on how to steer rope!
The Global Beat Stage will host different performances and cultural presentations if you need a break from all the booth activities. Enjoy Tanzanian Dancers, Armenian Modern and Folk Dances, as well as a Lion Dance by the Northern Shaoli Kung Fu Association. So be sure to attend the L.A.
