Valentine’s Day in Palm Beach County

Romance is in the air, and now we move to Palm Beach County. Although, you may not have as many options as in the Miami area, the options are just as fabulous. From a Valentine’s Day Brunch at the Windsor Gardens Hotel to a posh dinner at L’Escalier at The Breakers to a private dinner on the beach at Michelle Bernstein’s, get ready for the perfect evening out.

III Forks (PBG and Boca Raton locations) is the perfect option if you are looking for a juicy steak or even lobster. This year, III Forks will be offering weekend specials (Feb. 12-14) for Valentine’s Day — perfect if you want to celebrate a little early. Enjoy a 6oz Filet and 6 oz Lobster with potatoes, sugar snap peas, corn, tomatoes and spring onions for $72.95 or enjoy a 16 oz Wagyu Strip with the same sides for $69.95.

For a first-class dining experience, Cafe Boulud never disappoints. The combination of Chef Zach Bell and Pastry Chef Matthew Petersen surely will be a treat for your taste buds. For Valentine’s Day, they will offer a 3-course Cupid’s feast for $90++/person.  You are sure to enjoy the aphrodisiac-inspired menu that includes oysters, caviar and truffles. Pastry Chef Matthew Petersen will create a “Fire & Ice” dessert for ladies to take home and a display of cupcake treats. Four Seasons Palm Beach will host a Valentine’s Day on the Seine weekend featuring a Laurent Perrier rose toast upon arrival, live jazz and a sumptuous menu. Highlights include Hamachi Confit with sea urchin, American caviar, yuzu and shiso; “Hot & Sour” Roasted Duck Bullion with wood ear mushrooms, foie gras dumpling, madeira and szechwan pepper; and a Herb Roasted Turbot with truffle celery root, green and white asparagus, hearts of palm, and champagne oyster cream. Six Tables presents a 4-course wine dinner available February 12-14 and is priced at $180++ per couple. Highlights include Lobster Bisque with and organic greens-vinaigrette salad, Sesame Saki Sea Bass, Cherry Roast Duckling and of course, a chocolate duo for dessert. Each course is paired with wine. No one does it like The Breakers, so why not treat yourself to dinner at their signature French restaurant — L’Escalier? For Valentine’s Day, they will offer two seatings. The first is a 3-course dinner and is priced at $145++/person and the second is a 4-course dinner priced at $165++/person. Highlights on the menu include Hudson Valley Foie Gras Torchon Brulee; Butter Poached Lobster Tail; a New York Strip with spaghetti squash, La Ratte potatoes, black truffle vinaigrette and yuzu foam; and a Muscovy Duck Breast with duck confit tart, caramelized endive, compressed walnuts and a spiced duck jus. Don’t forget to finish off with something sweet like the Chocolate Timbale (for two) with Guanaja Chocolate Mousse, bittersweet creme, praline and hazelnut ice cream.

If you want to treat your sweetie like a queen, you might want to check out Michelle Bernstein’s at The Omphoy. This exclusive Valentine’s Day experience (available for a max. of 6 couples). You will enjoy a private dinner on the beach in either a beachside dining room (starting at $500) or in one of the pagodas on the terrace (starting at $400). Dinner will be a 5-course menu featuring oysters, caviar, chocolate and more — each paired with either wine or champagne. A strolling musician will serenade you.
