3rd Annual Teens for Jeans Drive

As if you need any excuse to get your teen to clean out their closets, here’s one that will appeal to the fashionista and the altruistic side of everyone.

jeans Teens for Jeans Drive, a charitable campaign aimed at teenagers, encourages the donation of gently worn jeans which are then distributed to homeless shelters and various charities.  Organized by Aéropostale stores in the greater Seattle area, this year’s campaign will donate the first 100,00 pairs of jeans to homeless teens in Haiti, and the company has agreed to match the number of jeans sent to Haiti.  That means, with combined efforts across the Seattle area, 200,000 pairs of jeans can be sent to Haiti, providing much needed support for victims of the devastating earthquake.  (NOTE:  The YWCA Haiti in Port-au-Prince will be distributing the clothing.)

If that doesn’t have you running to the closets, consider this.  For each pair of jeans donated, Aéropostale will give you 25% off a new pair.
