Spokane Falls

Spokane’s Riverfront Park was created after Expo ‘74, the 1974 World’s Fair held in Spokane, and still features many of the attractions and architecture from the fair.

One of the best ways to get a view of the park and the surrounding area is from the Skyride.  Skyride consists of re-built ski gondolas that have been converted into a sky ride that will take you above the river’s gorge, a prime spot for a view of Spokane Falls and for taking photos.

This time of year the Falls are rather low, although still impressive I think.  After the Spring snow melt, they’ll be higher and much more dramatic.
