The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa: Convention or Vacation

The main hotel structure towers 39 stories along the beachfront along A1A, while its adjacent 209,000 square-foot Covention Center features a huge 50,000 square foot Great Hall, four Ballrooms, 30 individual meeting rooms and multilevel garage.  Additional amenities include the 18-hole championship golf course, a 10-clay court Tennis Center, a 30,000 square-foot full service spa which are located at The Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa, The Westin’s sister property.

 The rooms: there are some 900 guest rooms in various sizes ranging from Superior Room up to Governors and Presidential Suites.  Almost every guest room offers either Intracoastal Waterway or Atlantic Ocean views.  Available room appointments include: 10-layer Heavenly Bed; Heavenly Bath products; Plantation shutters from bathroom opening into bedroom overlooking the Atlantic or Intracoastal; granite and marble appointed bathrooms with glass-enclosed shower and WC; refreshment center and coffee maker; Bose CD player/radio.  In-room technical amenities: high-speed internet; two data ports; TV; two-line speaker and cordless phones.

Dining around the Westin Diplomat?  Choose from a wide assortment: the Hollywood Prime – a signature steakhouse; The Cafe – for casual fare at breakfast or lunch; Splash Bar & Grille – fun food served poolside or oceanfront; Aizi 4 -Asian traditional flavors; BarSu Lounge – for Sake Martinis, full Sushi Bar; The Links Restaurant & Lounge – for casual dining with a fairway view, located at The Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa; Nikki Marina – upscale seafood in a nightclub atmosphere at The Diplomat Landing.  Of course, you also have 24-hour in-room dining, for those times you prefer not to leave your room.
