Lamma Fun Day 2009: Sun, sand and sea!
It’s the 10th annual Lamma Fun Day this Sunday, 22 November from 10am to 10pm and everyone is invited to come and have some fun under the winter sun! This yearly event is a great one for the whole family as it’s filled with everything from live music, bargain bazaars, arts and crafts, games, beach volleyball, food and drinks, and so much more. Last year was the first time I ever got to experience Fun Day and I had a blast! There’s no entry so you can feel free to relax and enjoy the company, music and beach. There will be barbeque and lots of other food on sale from different stalls and participating vendors–all at very affordable prices. This is mostly a residential event that the beach community of Lamma Island (map) organises but it is open to anyone eager to join in on the fun. Don’t miss it!
