Photo round-up: 2009 Lan Kwai Fong & Soho Street Carnivals
This year’s LKF and Soho Street Carnivals were just as fun as last year’s extravaganza and somehow filled with even more people than usual!

Known for its crazy nightlife, Lan Kwai Fong was full of lively people in the afternoon and jam-packed by the evening with eager partygoers and families looking to experience everything the street carnival had to offer. The usual stalls were there filled with scrumptious burgers, hotdogs, kebabs, beer bongs, wine bongs and sangria—all overflowing with customers. The parade brought out the infamous Brazilian dancers and street performers as live music boomed through the streets all weekend long.

Over in Soho the atmosphere was a bit mellower in the afternoon as vendors displayed their handmade products along the streets and the Wine Walk entertained those looking to satisfy their taste buds. By night fall the crowd dispersed and seemed to congregate around Wyndham Street just above Lan Kwai Fong where the party continued till the wee hours of the morning.

It was definitely another fun filled weekend in Central and next year I hope they continue to up the ante with even more unique stalls and performers.
