Pink’s Hot Dogs Celebrates 70th Anniversary in LA

The Pink family has been serving Pink’s Hot Dogs in Los Angeles since 1939, and on Saturday, November 7th, will be celebrating the business’ 70th anniversary with a “Chili Dogs for Charity” celebrity event.

For 7 days, starting on November 7th, at 7:00 p.m. for 70 minutes (until 8:10 p.m.), Pink’s chili cheese dogs will be sold for just 70 cents instead of the regular price of $3.50.  Each day will feature a different celebrity and proceeds will be donated to a charity of the celeb’s choice.

The celebrity schedule is as follow:

11/7 – Tournament of Roses Queen with her Court

11/8 – George Pennacchio, ABC-7′s Hollywood Entertainment Reporter

11/9 – Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa

11/10 – Huell Howser,  KCET’s host of “California Gold”

11/11 – Jason Alexander

11/12 – Bill Cosby

11/13 – Gary Bryan, KRTH 101FM radio & Tom LaBonge, Los Angeles City Councilmember

Sounds great, but not sure where in Los Angeles Pink’s is located?  The hot dog stand can be found near the corner of La Brea and Melrose Avenue in Hollywood (map).

See you there!
