Handmade HK Market at the Soho Wine & Dine Carnival
This weekend is filled with music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy all over Hong Kong Island. Aside from the Clockenflap Music & Multi-media Arts Festival, it’s also time for the Lan Kwai Fong and Soho Wine & Dine Street Carnivals. I’m very excited to see what they’ve got in store for us this year, especially since Handmade Hong Kong is having their Indie Craft Market in Soho too. From 12nn to 9pm on 7th and 8th November, Staunton St. (map), Elgin St. (map), Shelley St. (map) and Peel St. (map) in Soho will be closed off to traffic to showcase products from some of Hong Kong’s finest indie crafts makers. This is the place to find unique handmade goods such as clothes, eco-friendly bags, accessories, ceramics and more from over 50 participating artists.

The event is free of entrance and you can even join in on the creativity in an art-jam with some of Hong Kong’s most talented crafters from Vivid Vibrations, Little Clouds and Random Art Workshop.
The carnival will have 2 children’s zones filled with games to entertain the kids while you enjoy live performances throughout the day while perusing stalls filled with original pieces from local artists and sipping on fine wine.
Visit www.handmadehongkong.com to stay up-to-date with the latest events and find out how you can be a part of all the handmade fun.
