Disney World Ranks In Budget Travel’s 15 Places Every Kid Should See
What do the Redwood Forest, Colonial Williamsburg, the Grand Canyon, Niagra Falls and Walt Disney World all have in common? According to a recent article in Budget Travel, they are all among the 15 Places Every Kid Should See.
Vacations are meant to be a fun time spendt together with family and friends. When children, of all ages, have an opportunity to explore, learn and grow while on vacation, all the better. Combine all that with some amazing destinations and you have all the components for a fabulous vacation.
While FUN is at the top of the list of experiences at Walt Disney World, many of the attractions have a sneaky little way of throwing in an educational aspect. Some of my favorites include:
- The Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom – recently updated to tweak some of the awesome animatronics and to include Barack Obama
- World Showcase Pavilions at Epcot – spend a little time in each of the represented countries and you are sure to learn something new. If nothing else, make sure you learn to say “Hello” and “Thank You” at each destination
- Future World Pavilions at Epcot – education is around every corner here, just keep your eyes and ears open
- Animal Kingdom – From the Oasis Exhibit to the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail to Conservation Station there is so much to learn from the animals
When you have the opportunity to spend quality time together while sprinkling in a little education and culture, what more can I say than — Enjoy!!
