Fill that belly at Hawaii’s Fishing and Seafood Festival this Sunday

2213427903_054300327dSunday kicked off Children and Youth Month with a full day of festivities on the Honolulu Hale grounds.  This month there is even more family-friendly fun to honor the island’s keiki starting this Friday with the 21st Annual Talk Story Festival.  This week I will be providing information on the best kid-friendly events happening around the islands.  Don’t miss the fun!

Sunday, October 11: Hawaii Fishing and Seafood Festival – Many keiki love to go fishing, visit the island’s many fish markets, or try local seafood.  That’s why this Sunday there will be a special day honoring Hawaii’s yummy fish and seafood!  From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pier 38, there will be plenty of food to taste and fish and seafood to learn about.  This festival is sponsored by the Pacific Island Fisheries Group.  Admission is free, and there is free parking and shuttle service from the Honolulu Community College.
