Visit a Museum FREE This Weekend
FREE is a very good price, and here another idea for a free outing this weekend (in addition to CroatiaFest, that is).
Bank of America cardholders can enjoy FREE admission into four Seattle-Tacoma area museums this weekend as part of the Museum on Us program. Now in its 12th year, more than 120 museums across the US offer free access to Bank of America cardholders each month.
The local museums offering this promotion are:
- Museum of History & Industry (map)
- The Wing Luke Asian Museum (map)
- Northwest African American Museum (map)
- Tacoma Art Museum (map)
To get your free admission, you’ll need to present your bank ATM, credit or check card, along with a valid photo ID.
Dates for the remainder of 2009 are:
- October 3rd-4th
- November 7-8th
- December 5-6th
The program runs through 2010, with free access on the first full weekend of each month.
This is a great local program, and since it’s offered at museums across the country, it’s also a great money saver when traveling. If you’re traveling the first weekend of the month, don’t forget to check what area museums are a part of this program!
