Toga! Toga! Sometimes we just need a reason to get a little wild and crazy and Taverna Opa CityPlace might just be the place to do that. Opa, known for delicious Greek cuisine, napkin throwing, dancing on the tables and bringing a little wild into your typical calm night, will celebrate their one-year anniversary, as Taverna Opa is transformed into a Greek Palace.

When: Thursday, October 1 (with additional events planned on the 2nd & 3rd)

Where: , 700 S Rosemary Avenue in West Palm Beach

Details: Owner Lirim Jacobi, Operations Manager Miguel Harding and Wild 95.5 will host this celebration. Get ready for a little wine tasting (Greek vintages), some lamb tasting (Chef Bobby will roast his famous whole lamb on a spit outside and give away free slices), some live Greek entertainment (a Greek fire dancer and of course, belly dancers – oh yes, and a belly dancing contest for men and women at midnight), free shots from an ice luge and if you are wearing a toga – it’s free Champagne for you from 10:00 pm – midnight. Vendors will also be outside selling Greek clothing and jewelry, and a tarot card reader will be on hand.

Although most of the festivities will take place on Thursday evening, the fun will continue throughout the weekend on both Friday and Saturday with free shots, drink specials and guest DJs.
