Concert Under the Stars with Joe Posada
This Thursday, July 9, 2009 the San Antonio Botanical Garden summer concert series – Concert Under the Stars – continues with Grammy-nominated Joe Posada. Posada is one of the top saxophonists in Tejano music, as well as a timeless vocalist.
Gates open at 6:00pm with the concert starting at 7:00pm. Concert Under the Stars is free for Botanical Society members and $5 for general admission. You can bring blankets and lawn chairs but no outside food or beverages. Concessions are available. You can also pre-order Central Market picnic box dinners before Wednesday at noon. The San Antonio Botanical Garden is located at 555 Funston. Why not spend the afternoon at the garden and then enjoy the concert in the evening?
