Kirkland Gallery of Gardens Tours

Tour four beautiful private gardens, within a mile and a half of the Kirkland Art Center, at the inaugural Kirkland Gallery of Gardens Tour. These gardens are rarely (if ever) open for public viewing.

An English Suburban Back Garden The self-guided tour features homeowners and specialists at teach site, to help explain information about plant selection, creative landscaping, garden design, and answer questions.

There are four different garden styles that you’ll see on the tour:

Northwest Contemporary – A waterfront home with Mediterranean planting beds, Asian-styled shade gardens, and a hillside vegetable and fruit orchard.

European – The elegant garden features stone terraces and formal fountains, along with organic fruits and vegetables.

Wildlife Sanctuary – A certified sanctuary and botanical garden, with over 300 types of native plants, along a running creek.

Sustainable – A family garden that includes herbs and vegetables, livestock, and a barn and pasture.

You’ll be sure to get a variety ideas to inspire and motivate your own yard and garden creations.

Date & Time:  Sunday, July 26th, 11 am – 4 pm

Tickets:  $15 advance/$20 day of event.  Purchase at the Kirkland Art Center, Marenakos Rock Center, 30250 SE High Point Way, Issaquah (map), or Ravenna Gardens, 2600 NE University Village in Seattle (map) and 325 Parkplace Center in Kirkland (map).  Available online starting July 1st.  You can also call 425-822-7161.
