Tickets Available for the Tales of the Cocktail Film Fest
Tales of the Cocktail, known as the most “Spirited Event of the Summer,” is getting ready to kick into full gear, and leading the way for the full roster of must-go events is the second annual Cocktail Film Fest. In cooperation with the W Hotel on Poydras Street in downtown New Orleans (as opposed to the French Quarter location, a beautifully modern but still Nawlins-charming luxurious lodging) and Zoe Bistro, dinner party-style film showings promise to be a whole lot of fun.
Chef Roberto Bustillo, Jr., executive chef of Zoe and multiple New Orleans Wine and Food Experience gold fleur de lis winner, will be presiding over the snacks for the day, and at $25 a ticket, it’s a steal for that kind of food. To make it an even better deal, you can truly make a night of it with an elegant room at the hotel for just $109, using the promotion code LIF. Both room and ticket can be purchased through TalesoftheCocktail.com.
The entire evening is hosted by Cheryl Charming of MissCharming.com fame, author of many books related to the food and beverage industry, of which she’s been a part of since 1976. The fun begins at 4 PM on the second floor of the W on Poydras, and the films slated to light up the night are: King Creole, Cocktail, and Moulin Rouge in that order. Dean Serneels, the “Mad MXologist” will be acting as a sidebar to the event (pun intended!) from 6-8 PM.

This is my dream event to attend! What could be better than several days devoted to the art of cocktails and liquor? And what better place to have it than New Orleans?
