Pizza Economy 101

The economic crisis is being felt throughout the world, but travellers to Rome will find a pizzeria that will no doubt restore faith. Or at least in your hard-earned money.

Pan’Unto is brand spanking new in the heart of Trastevere and is offering 5 Euro pizzas for lunch and dinner (Except Saturday nights). The pizzeria is not pretty, it’s not trendy or elegant, but service is prompt and courteous. Pizzas are made in a wood-burning oven and can be prepared any way you like.

Go for lunch and order the special: tomato bruschetta, margherita pizza, water or beer, and a coffee for 7 Euros!

Don’t feel like pizza? Anna or Stefano will be happy to prepare a pasta dish or grill some fresh meat.

Desserts are strictly homemade.
